Is the VAE legal and Recognized?

Of course it is the law in France, since 2002. Please see the French Code of Education. This law mandates (not authorizes) French Universities to recognize the value of experience as a teaching method. In 1985, France had the VAP (validation des Acquis (Professionnels) that gave only credits for work experience. France is linked with all countries through international agreements such as the Lisbon Convention on Recognition. Your degree will be considered as a valid foreign degree. In the USA credential evaluators recognized it also for immigration, university admissions and licensing.

 

Should I go to France for Interviews?

No we are a XXIº century university and all the communication will be electronic.

 

What documents should I present for my VAE?

• The questionnaire and payment of the refundable* application fees (*in case of non-admission)

• Copies of your previous degrees if any (with translation in French or English)

• Documents from third parties confirming your experience and work. It should includes time od employment and tasks descrition.

Do I need a Bachelor's Degree to Apply for a Master's through VAE?

No, the  VAE recognizes the accumulation of knowledge through qualified work experience. You may apply directly to the wanted degree without any prerequisite. A high school graduate with considerable and extraordinary valued work experience may apply for a Ph.D. through the VAE.
